This is how I treat my anxiety

The thing with anxiety is every fear and worry you have makes sense and is actually real to you. Your surroundings in a social situation become a danger zone yet being alone causes you to dig yourself deeper into a hole of irrational thoughts. It’s different for everyone but it seems that no matter what you do to escape your own thoughts they will be patiently waiting for you when you let your guard down — and then suddenly you can’t breathe, the world is spinning, and you feel like your choking … a panic attack, for no apparent reason.

October Reading Wrap-up

I participated in a readathon for the first time ever which was exciting, so I definitely read more books than usual in one month. I ended up completing 5 out of the 7 challenges but I did double up on one of the books. So in all I read 4 books for the challenge in 2 weeks. Not bad for my first readathon. Book Review: “The Unhoneymooners” by Christina Lauren

Rating: 3/5

If you had the chance to take a fully paid for tropical vacation but it was with someone you don’t get along with in the least would you still take it? I would. And I think most of us would. The setting of this book is exactly that and it ends in all the ways you would expect romantic comedy to end.
