My 5-Star Reads From 2022

I would have liked to have read more books this year. But this year was filled with lots of changes in my personal life, so reading was low on the priority list. But these are some of the books I rated 5 stars on Goodreads. If you’re not familiar with Goodreads, it’s an app where you can track what you’re reading and also rate and review books. The rating scale is from 1 to 5 stars, no half stars. So while I might’ve given some of these books 4.5 stars, I decided to round up. So here’s my list:

Mid-Year Book Freak-Out Tag | 2022

I’ve seen this tag going around on YouTube recently, so I thought it’d be fun to participate in it through blog format. Admittedly, I haven’t been reading very much this year. We’ve been traveling a lot and have had lots of changes happening, so my reading has fallen to the wayside. At the beginning of the year, I set a goal to read 50 books by the end of the year. I usually only set a goal of about 30-35 books every year, but I wanted to challenge myself this year. I’m not pressuring myself to reach the goal, but instead, I want to see how many I can actually read and not just cut myself short by only setting a goal of 30-35 books. I’m a bit behind — and by “a bit” I mean wayyyy behind — but I feel like it’s still attainable.
