Recently the rain has allowed little time for the sun to shine. When I lived in SouthWest Texas, rain was always exciting. It meant pizza, movies, and cozy blankets. Now I long for sunny days and the rainy ones are gloomy and sad. But I’m trying to treat every rainy day like it’s the first rainfall of the season. If it’s gonna rain, it’s gonna rain so might as well try to continue day-to-day life as if it’s not there … Or if you love to read, you can make the most of your indoor time with a good book and a hot drink. Here are some books that I recommend reading on a rainy day:
- The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn
- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
- The Dutch House by Ann Patchett
- The Diary of a Bookseller by Shaun Bythell
- The Incorrigible Optimists Club by Jean-Michel Guenassia
- The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
- Truly Devious Series by Maureen Johnson
- Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë
- Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon
- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
