
It was a Monday morning and my mental health was already getting the best of me. I was literally curled in a blanket on my beanbag crying over a good weekend that turned bad, and I was now allowing it to trickle into my week. What frustrated me the most was that I was so determined to have a good day and start it off right. I really wanted to make pancakes that morning but somehow ended up with no appetite and zero motivation. But history has shown that the longer I allow myself to remain in this state, the more difficult it is to jump out of it. I didn’t want to waste any more of my day. And even though starting off the day was a little bit delayed, I didn’t let it stop me from starting it at all.
